Take a Fresh Look

November 20th, 2009

QualityAt Domino’s Pizza, quality is king. We take great care with every step to ensure that the dough, cheese, sauce and toppings you choose are to the highest standard and the most delicious. You can find out more at http://www.takeafreshlook.co.uk

Whether you want to check the saturated fat content of your pizza? Trying to keep an eye on your salt intake? Worried about allergens? Our handy Food Guide will answer all your questions.

Or maybe visit the FOOD HEROES section http://www.takeafreshlook.co.uk/foodheroesandvillains.htm to find out more about our commitment to quality.. For example:

We only use 100% mozzarella cheese in our pizzas, with no additives or substitutes, as you need great cheese for a great pizza. Cheese lovers can also ask for an extra portion of cheese for a really rich pizza or you can have a lightly cheesed pizza if you are watching your waistline. And if counting calories is your thing, don’t forget that we are the only national pizza delivery company to offer a lower fat mozzarella.

Domino’s tomato sauce is made in Portugal to our own recipe. The tomatoes are picked and processed within six hours and we use just over two kilos of tomatoes to produce one kilo of sauce that is good enough to use on our pizzas.

Countdown underway to Lincoln’s big switch on

November 13th, 2009

Source: http://www.lincoln.gov.uk/news_det.asp?sec_id=3478&art_id=13935

There’s less than a week to go to Lincoln’s big city centre lights switch on and organisers the City of Lincoln Council are urging families to arrive early for the event.
Christmas officially begins in Lincoln on the evening of Thursday 19th November with comedy legends and stars of ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ Cannon and Ball lighting up Lincoln in time for the late night shopping season.

As special guests of the Right Worshipful, the Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor David Gratrick, the popular comedy duo will switch on Lincoln’s recently restored Christmas lights as part of an extra special night of family fun. They’ll also be available to meet their fans and sign autographs from 7.20pm to 8pm at the Waterside Shopping Centre.

The official switch on will be at 7pm at the Memorial, St. Benedict’s Square on the High Street. The Civic Procession will leave the Guildhall at 6.50pm. A special service will be conducted by the Acting Mayor’s Chaplain, John Campbell and will feature performances by Ermine Primary School Choir and Mount Street School Choir.

Main organiser, Kate Fenn, Civic Manager at the City of Lincoln Council said: It’s great to get the support of Cannon and Ball who were only too happy to help us get Christmas off to a bang in Lincoln. We are advising people to wrap up warm and arrive early to get the most out of the celebrations.

Cannon and Ball are performing in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Theatre Royal from 12th December to 16th January.

Note from Domino’s in Lincoln: WHY NOT SEND US A PHOTO OF CANNON and BALL SWITCHING THE LIGHTS
